With this painting I wanted to create something humorous as well as wholesome - it's a reimagination of one of DaVinci's self-portraits, with a little twist: His smirk and his side-eyed gaze off canvas suggest that he knows something we don't know. Did he, perhaps, have a hunch about the importance of the feline spirit in our culture today?

I guess cats were always beloved by us humans - and much needed if you ask me! So, this is once again, a tribute to my all-time-favorite beings on this beautiful planet. 

An alternative title to this painting could be: "He knew all along"!
